On Sunday Western Cultured's crew ventured to Wallace Falls for a little exploration and to light up the moment.
Wallace Falls is an intermediate hike filled with riverside inlets, moss covered trees and nine waterfalls. Our hike started along the river's edge, which is scattered with smoke spots. Eventually the trail transitioned to switchbacks and our quads felt the burn. The trail has numerous benches where we could relax and enjoy the view with one of Western Cultured's half-gram pre-rolls. The last half-mile between Middle and Upper Falls became more rugged, but the view (and celebratory joint) at the top made our mud-coated shoes worth it.
Located off Highway 2 near Gold Bar, Wallace Falls is a 5.5 mile hike roundtrip from the trailhead to Upper Falls. Dogs are allowed at Wallace Falls, but must be kept on a leash due to steep cliffs and previous pet accidents. A Discover Pass is required for parking but can be purchased on-site.
Wallace Falls is a perfect Memorial Day hike for family, friends and lighting up memories. Make sure to tag us on social media so we can see how you #LightUpTheMoment!
