A couple weeks back Western Cultured's crew lit up their art experience before visiting the Seattle Art Museum's "Intimate Impressionism" exhibit. The collection came from the National Gallery of Art and featured world renowned artists like Monet, Renoir and Degas.
Looking at their exquisite attention to detail and unique styles, it's no wonder these men were influencers of the art world, even if they didn't see it. In fact, Claude Monet once called himself "nothing but a failure."
As we strolled through the gallery we felt inspiration, creativity and empowerment. Similar to Monet or Renoir, we are trying something new. The recreational cannabis community is like is a blank canvas. LCB changes or warehouse setbacks can be frustrating, but we're painting a masterpiece in the marijuana community.
If you're looking to light up your art experience, stroll down to the Seattle Art Museum on 1st Avenue and University Street. This world-class art center is open Wednesday though Sunday. Make sure to give yourself ample time because there is a lot of art to enjoy!
