Last weekend cannabis connoisseurs, consumers and advocates convened in Seattle to celebrate the 25th annual Hempfest. Western Cultured also attended, with a vendor booth to premier our terpene wheel and branded tank tops.
Hempfest took place in Myrtle Edwards Park with over 400 vendors, 1,000 volunteer event staff and six stages for guest speakers and musical acts. The 2016 platform focused on de-scheduling cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act, national release of non-violent cannabis offenders, parental protections for users, Second Amendment equality protections to consumers, legal home-grows, use in hospitals and other important issues.
The Western Cultured team loved meeting Hempfest attendees. Our free posters provided consumers terpene education. We also debuted our new cotton-poly tank tops, perfect for Hempfest’s scorching weather. Missed our booth and want your own Western Cultured wear? Click here to purchase from our online shop!
Western Cultured loved our Hempfest experience. We feel fortunate to live in a state that allows legal cannabis consumption and hope in the future, all Americans can partake in such events.
