On a stormy Saturday over forty members of the Arlington Cannabis Coalition held their first volunteer day at Twin Rivers Park. Two and four-legged friends gathered to prepare the disc golf course in anticipation of the July tournament. The scenic park and woodland is located at the crossing of the North and South Stillaguamish Rivers in Arlington, Washington.
The Coalition was formed to lend a helping hand to its surrounding community while also providing education and setting a standard within the industry. Out of almost 20 producers and processors in Arlington, eight are members. Their goal is to involve all Arlington cannabis companies in projects like this one.
Alongside the Western Cultured team were staff of Avitas, Pioneer Nuggets, Smokey Point Productions and others. Participants triumphed over the rain and helped to make the clean up a job well done.
The collaboration of effort amongst these businesses will grow the relationship between the local disc golf community and the city of Arlington. Twin Rivers will continue to be home to one of the superior disc golf parks in Washington State with the help of volunteers like those in the ACC.
